The WELCOME CENTRE is a Huddersfield-based foodbank that helps individuals and families facing challenges such as job loss, debt and eviction, benefit issues, homelessness, domestic violence, substance misuse, and physical and mental health problems.

The WELCOME CENTRE also provides clients with guidance and support to help them address any underlying or ongoing issues which prevent them getting back on their feet.

HTSA has worked with the WELCOME CENTRE since 2017 through the Fans For Foodbanks initiative. We are currently raising funds on their behalf. You can donate here: FANS FOR FOODBANKS CRISIS FUND.

The Welcome Centre

The Town Foundation was was launched in July 2012 by then Huddersfield Town Chairman, Dean Hoyle, to improve the lives of young people in the local area. It is most famous for its Breakfast Clubs initiative, but since 2016, it has focused on five key areas: Trust; Sport; Inclusion; Education and Health.

HTSA has always been a vocal supporter of the Foundation, working together with them on several projects, including Fans For Foodbanks.

Town Foundation

Destitute Asylum Seekers Huddersfield (DASH) is a Huddersfield-based charity that works on behalf of refugees and asylum seekers. DASH works with Paddock Community Trust, as well as Talk English, Works Better, Step by Step and Welcome Mentors.

HTSA has worked with DASH since 2017, hosting fundraisers, organising events on behalf of their clients, and raising awareness during Refugee Week.
